Schuntel Alexis is a Washington D.C. native who has always had a keen eye for fashion and event styling. She is known for being a social delight amongst her family and friends however she is known as the editor-in-chief of Ms. Style & Grace (fashion and lifestyle blog). For 7 years she dedicated her free-time to informing her readers about the popular trends for women and men, fashion related events in the metropolitan area and re-inventing the way people view the world of fashion through her eyes. Also, as an advocate for education and knowledge, she graduated from Elon University with a B.A. in Political Science and Communications then obtained her M.S. in Management with a focus in Marketing at the University of Maryland.

Schuntel Alexis has not only immersed herself with degrees but has strived to learn and appreciate the art of styling and planning through years of experience of planning her family and friends special life events. She’s been in the game a long time!

HOW IT ALL BEGAN…

She first co-planned and directed her high school fashion show when she was 16 years old and then again during college. Breaking barriers, she then became the first black Fashion Columnist for her college newspaper. A great achievement indeed, this motivated her to also become a creative director and stylist for fashion shows on/off campus; as well as a coordinator for several media publicized events.

Soon, after graduating from College, she began researching and studying fashion while creating her very own fashion blog entitled, “Ms. Style and Grace” where she offered advice and her unique perspective on how she viewed the fashion world. This perspective has been nurtured by her world-traveler parents and Guyanese upbringing, to always excel and maximize her fullest potential.

Schuntel Alexis is also self-published author of the non-fiction self-guide and memoir, “If These Heels Could Talk”. Schuntel Alexis has always been committed to making women feel beautiful beginning inside out, so becoming an author was a life-long dream of hers. She is now walking passionately in those heels of hers as an Event Stylist, who has had years of planning experience.

Event styling and planning has always been a passion of hers and it’s without a doubt she can make your event special with her magical touch. As a natural progression, Schuntel Alexis has taken the full leap into event styling by also offering concierge services and an exclusive product of ‘event planning’ boxes to meet the needs of her clients. Schuntel Alexis will service clients in-person and virtually.
